Moisture Testing

Is your floor dry?

Before floor coverings or some smoothing compounds can be laid, screed needs to meet certain moisture testing regulations. If there is more than 0.5% moisture left in the screed, floor finishes should not be applied because tiles could blow and vinyl (which requires an adhesive or smoothing compound) could bubble.

Don’t panic. Screed It can test your floor for you and tell you when it is safe to sand and prime the surface ahead of laying your final flooring finishes – preventing costly mistakes and saving valuable time.
